Thunderbird 2.0 Now Available

According to CyberNet News, it looks like you can now download the final version of Thunderbird 2.0, Mozilla’s free open source desktop e-mail client.
Beyond providing the download information, Ryan also provides information on how to set up your account, reading e-mails and the new e-mail notifier, tagging e-mails, searching, account settings, and coverage of the options available!
My favorite new feature is the e-mail notifier. Its not quite the one with Microsoft Outlook 2003+, but its pretty nice.

Matt,
Great to hear! Please let me know your thoughts. Are you converting from Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 or Outlook Express?
I’m curious to hear how you think it stacks up with your previous desktop e-mail client.
