Technology Talk – 12/16/2007
December 16th, 2007
Here is a bunch of technology and blogging posts I enjoyed from around the blogosphere this week. Enjoy!
- Stone Temple has posted a must-read interview with Matt Cutts. Included are all sorts of stuff for webmasters, including an explanation of the difference between NoFollow and NoIndex.
- The How-To Geek explains how to easily create a Google Analytics bookmarklet. I keep Google Analytics installed on most of my sites, but don’t use it often enough. This bookmarklet will come in very handy!
- John Chow has posted that TTZ Media now has an affiliate program and including banners available for your website. It looks like it pays 10% on what your referrals make for the next 12 months, which is pretty decent if you are trying to make money through affiliate programs.
- Technotarget has posted a bunch of resources for making money online. You’ll see the usual suspects, but there are also a ton of other services that most people probably don’t know exist.
- Keith of Techie-Buzz explains how to access your Facebook and Twitter accounts in Microsoft Outlook. This is a convenient way to update your status for either service.
- Amit of Digital Inspiration shows us how to export and backup all Microsoft Outlook e-mail into Gmail. This is great for those of us that had a lot of e-mail on our desktops but don’t have it backed up online anywhere.

Hi Kyle thanks for doing the spade work and providing us with that list. I am particularly interested in that post about “how to export and backup all Microsoft Outlook e-mail into Gmail”.
