This has been kind of a slow week around the blogosphere with not a lot happening. Either that, or it just seems that way coming off Google PageRank update week. Either way, here is some of the stuff I enjoyed from around the blogosphere this week:

  • Ryan of CyberNet News has posted about the history of web browsers. Included is a look back at Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and even Netscape. Incredible post Ryan!
  • Shankar Ganesh took my advice on trying Avast and it looks like now he is hooked! I’m always thrilled to hear I converted another one to Avast. He even through threw a post comparing AVG vs. Avast that is a very good read.
  • Lifehacker gives us an early look at Firefox 3.0. With Beta 1 just around the corner, I’m starting to get all pumped up for this browser.
  • Keith over at Techie-Buzz has explained how to access your Yahoo! Mail from a desktop client such as Microsoft Outlook. I use web-based mail for everything, but I still manage it from my Outlook or Thunderbird desktop clients, so I found this particularly useful.
