Here is a list of interesting interesting things going on around the blogosphere:

  • CrunchGear looks at the complexity of Facebook.  Has all of Facebook’s additions taken away from the service that we’ve grown to love?  I personally don’t think so, but Nicholas brings up some good points.   Facebook is going to continue to grow and improve, but sometimes all that extra size can cause some bloat.
  • AllFacebook takes a look at LinkedIn’s announcement that they are opening their platform to 3rd parties, which appears to be an effort to compete with Facebook (different services, but in my opinion do compete indirectly).    Mark Evans explains why he feels they two are not competitors.
  • CyberNet News gives you a list of portable applications that should be on your USB drive.  I love using my USB drive and feel that many will find this article useful.
  • Shankar Ganesh offers you tips on the 11 things you should do before you hit the publish button.   Over the past year I’ve become a better blogger in part because of my improved pre-publishing rituals.  This list is a must read if you run a blog.  Great job Shankar!
