Still Getting BlogRush Traffic

Not only has it been quite a while since I added the Blogrush widget to my blog to give their new service a try, but it has also been quite a while since I left the program by removing my Blogrush widget from this blog. For whatever reason, I just wasn’t feeling the “rush” of traffic that I was promised.
I’m not sure if I had some goodwill stored up or what, but yesterday while browsing my friend K’s blog Shankri-La, I was a little surprised to see my site show up on his Blogrush widget. Here is some visual proof:
So, what exactly is going on? Did I have some credits stored up that they still feel they owed to me? That was my most recent post at the time, so apparently we still get the BlogRush love after we’ve left their program. Why keep the widget if you get traffic without it?

Kyle.. that’s sweet! They must have left the ‘quality’ blogs in there in the cleanup they did. I have stuck with them even though I haven’t gotten the traffic rush because of the promised changes. I am going to give them some more time and see how it all plays out.
It could be because they give blogs which get few visitors “Bonus credits” to help them. You haven’t got the widget on your site, so they think your getting no visitors.
I’ve been trying BlogRush but I am not getting the promised traffic either, maybe 2 or 3 visits a day. I’m going to keep at it though and hope I get a few good referrers through it as it’s quite new. I do like seeing what it comes up with on my site and visiting some blogs I didn’t know about that are similar to mine.
