I'm trying to get more people to jump into affiliate marketing, but I want to make sure they understand that they won't be rich overnight (usually!). There are PPC advertising expenses, direct advertising expenses sometimes, paying directories to list you, and sometimes buying/trying new software. I've been fortunate to find a lot of profit already through affiliate marketing, but I reinvest a large sum of it into trying new products and the other expenses listed above.
