MyBlogLog Adds Join Community Buttons
November 21st, 2007
One sign of a great company is the willingness to grow, adapt, and accept user input. After all, they are the ones using the service, right?
A couple of months ago, I contacted MyBlogLog and recommended that they make some buttons available on their website. Sounds easy enough, right? You would think so, but it seemed like it would never get done. The service has been going through a lot of changes lately, so its likely that it just get pushed to the back of the “to-do” list.
Yesterday I was reading the official MyBlogLog blog and noticed that MyBlogLog has since added buttons for users. You can now access your Buttons page from the community profile and get the code you need to add a button to your blog.
If you are wanting to build up your MyBlogLog community, this is a great way to promote it. Once placed on your website, users will be able to click the button to easily go to your MyBlogLog community and join.
Here is how the new buttons look:
I like how they have a variety of sizes and styles. If you are worried about it looking intrusive, you can grab a small button and throw it at the bottom of your sidebar.

You have hit the nail on its head. If they want loyalty and goodwill and use these to grow, they will listen to their customers and where practical, use the suggestions that come up from them. Here is a great case where, as a satisfied customer, you are recommending them. On the other hand, your other blog gives a totally different scenario. Is it the size that matters?
Smart move on their part. The buttons look good too. I should go ever there and grab one. I wonder if they have a brown one heh.
I am sure these buttons will be of great help.
