Looking for Reader Input
June 4th, 2008
Now that I’ve got a good number of niche sites up and running and generating income each month, I now have some disposable income to work with each month. As someone who tries not to “settle” and always pushes himself to continue to improve his situation, I’m constantly on the hunt for new products to try and new ideas/niches to invest in.
One of the problems I’m running in to is that I can’t truly give a fair product review for a product until I’ve been using it for a few months, so in the meantime, what should I write about? That is where I’d like to get your input! What do you want me to write more about?
A couple things I’m considering:
- I’m not a big fan of most “Make Money Online” blogs, as they are truly just period schemes of a sort where they top MMO blogs make tons of money and the lower traffic blogs just re-blog about everything that they see on the top blogs. With that said, I think that the income reports most do each month have a value to readers. Would you like to see something like this for May? I may end up doing this each month if there is an interest.
- I love to write and share my experiences, but I also love to hear yours and learn from them. I may start trying to open up some discussions about what you’ve found works and what doesn’t.
- Do you want to see case studies? Maybe create a BANS site and walk through the process on this blog from setup, to strategy, to income reports.
I also plan on doing a full review of each of the main affiliate services that I’ve been using for months so I have something to refer readers to when I mention them in a post. Hopefully there will be a few things included that you may not have known about.
So, here is your chance. What do you want to see more of? Are you enjoying the content over the past month?

Kyle,
Yes, I’m enjoying your recent content. I’m also very interested in this comment:
Keep ‘em coming, you’re work is appreciated.
@ Richard – Thanks for the input. I’ve got a review of ePN scheduled to be posted and I’m working on Amazon Associates. I will eventually get through all of the main ones and then spend some time on some that people may not know about.
Yes, I’d like to see more about the process of setting up a BANS. I’ve been considering it thanks to your posts. Trying to work up the nerve (and time) to purchase the license. My habit is to start out with good intentions of seeing my ideas come through, but kind of slow to deliver on them. The idea for BANS is to setup once and leave it alone as far as selecting a niche, right?
@ Mark – You want a guide for the actual process of setting up a BANS site? The software comes with a VERY detailed guide for both the installing of BANS and the configuration of the BANS store, but I can certainly write a post trying to cover this.
I think of BANS stores and other niche blogs as “planting seeds” which will hopefully grow over time. Yes, the idea is to do your keyword research (I believe you told me you have Micro Niche Finder already) and find a good niche, then make your store. Once you have the domain, making the store will take less than an hour (after your first one). Once that is done, it is up to you, but you really don’t need to do anything for it to start making money.
If you decide to buy BANS, I’ll certainly try to help as I can if you run into problems, but like I said, the instructions that come with BANS are REALLY good!
It often takes a couple weeks before it starts getting traffic, but once it does, depending on the niche, income should slowly start to roll in.
Some people don’t trust that people can make money with blogging activities. Of course with the exceptional cases, talk about rat race or illusion for dumbs. I like a lot blogging, I just did for more that 15 years, even that be considering an activity. But I feel good when I read about sucess with numbers, that your case.
