Kyle’s Cove Gets a New Logo Courtesy of Logo Design Works
September 14th, 2007
It is with great pleasure that I announce that as of today, Kyle’s Cove now officially has a new logo, courtesy of Logo Design Works.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that I am not very talented when it comes to creating a website logo, so a couple of weeks ago I was thrilled to see that Daily Blog Tips was giving away two free logo designs. I was lucky enough to be selected as one of the two winners (thanks Daniel!), and was quickly contacted by Logo Design Works to get started on what would end up being one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had online.
They quickly set a date to have the intial designs completed, then took my feedback and got the logo back to me with the changes later that same day. After a few rounds of feedback with my logo designer, I was provided with my logo in the following formats: JPG, GIF, EPS and AI. Here is the finished product:

The best part of this logo is that it was provided to me while no strings attached. This review is being written because of the great experience I had with them, not as a requirement for receiving the logo. If you are interested in creating a unique brand for your website, there are a few ways to get one from Logo Design Works.
You can go the old fashioned route and purchase a logo from the company directly. They offer a variety of packages, with the more expensive packages giving you unlimited revisions and a faster turnaround time. If you are unsure if it is worth it, each logo comes with a 100% moneyback guarantee.
Your other option is to try to take advantage of a promotion they are offering where you can actually apply for a free logo design on their website ($179.00 value). They currently give away up to 10 logo designs a month if you meet the minimum requirements. In order to qualify for a free logo, you need to have a blog that is written in English, it must be at least 6 months old, and have at least 10 posts in the last 30 days. Your blog also needs to cover one of the following areas:
- Design
- Small business
- Marketing
- SEO
- Blogging
- Freelance
- Productivity
Brand recognition is a very important part of having an online identity. I am extremely satisfied with the Logo Design Works, and recommend anyone that is looking for a new logo for one of their sites to give Logo Design Works a chance to work for you!
So, what do you think of the new logo and favicon (favicon hasn’t updated as of the publishing of this post)? Let me know in the comments below!

I think it looks awesome! I really like it, I think I’m going to go ahead and apply for the free logo design on my new blog, blogscrutiny.com. I would apply for CyberSurge but it doesn’t meet all of the requirements.
Wow, I guess I’m not too smart, BlogScrutiny.com isn’t 6 months old, duh.
Looks really good Kyle!
Wow, looks pretty good – I like it!
Congratulations, Kyle! The logo is very sweet and professional
Snazzy logo, should age well too as it’s not very web 2.0-ey. I did like the old one too though, so you’re not THAT bad a designer
Thanks everyone! And yes, I was being very sincere in my post. I was truly WOW’d by the experience I had with logo design works and their whole process.
Yeah, that was kind of what I was going for. I wanted something extremely basic, but I did want a fancy logo that could double as a favicon. I feel this accomplished it pretty well.
The logo looks really cool one. Congrats on winning it.
Very nice logo!
Thanks Nirmal and Matt! You both have nice logos already, but if you are ever looking for one, I recommend checking out Logo Design Works.
The logo looks great I think. Do you have a link to your old design, I can’t remember what it looked like exactly.
I’m pretty happy with my new logo as well:
