Instant Messenger Predictions for 2007

Just yesterday, while chatting with a friend via Google Talk, I got to thinking about what the future holds with Instant Messenging.  What else could be done?

Big Blue Ball has made their IM Predictions for 2007, and also threw in some other analysts predictions as well.   Unsurprisingly, the much anticipated AIM/Google Talk merger tops the list (and something I’m looking forward to as a Google Talk user).  Most GMail users will use Google Talk for obvious reasons, so I think this would be a great feature.
