Improve Your Windows Media Player with Extras
May 20th, 2007
If you’re stilling using the stock version of Windows Media Player 11, you are really missing out on some great extras.
There are three types of extras you can enjoy:
- Skins -Â Changes the appearance of your media player.
- Visualizations – Adds visuals to your media player that move to the beat of the music.
- Plugins – Adds features such as audio effects and DVD playback.
If you use Windows Media Player, take a few moments to dress it up a little bit and get the most out of your media player.

Thanks Kyle, I love using Media Player and would definitely try out these extras.
Oh, I can’t stand Windows Media Player but more power to the people who can… I-Tuenes works well for me.
I use iTunes for most things, but I find I use Media Player quite a bit. I also like being able to open it up within the Firefox web browser.
I hate iTunes. It uses so many resources and it slows my computer down like hell. I can’t say I am a big fun of Media Player but I’ll check out those skins and plugins.
