Improve Internet Explorer with IE7Pro
June 26th, 2007
If you are an Internet Explorer 7.0 user, you really should be using Firefox, Flock, or even Opera as your primary browser. With that said, there are several reasons people still use Internet Explorer. The most common reason is because many work systems only work on Internet Explorer. Others just don’t like change. Whatever the reason, if you are stuck using Internet Explorer, you should at least do yourself a favor and install some add-ins or add-ons. My personal favorite is the popular IE7Pro add-on, which is designed to make your IE7 more professional. What’s so special about this add-on? Here is what they have to say about it:
IE7Pro is a must have add-on for Internet Explorer, which includes a lot of features and tweaks to make your IE friendlier, more useful, secure and customizable. IE7Pro includes Tabbed Browsing Management, Spell Check, Inline Search, Super Drag Drop, Crash Recovery, Proxy Switcher, Mouse Gesture, Tab History Browser, Web Accelerator, User Agent Switcher, Webpage Capturer, AD Blocker, Flash Block, Greasemonkey like User Scripts platform, User Plug-ins and many more power packed features. You can customize not just Internet Explorer, but even your favorite website according to your need and taste using IE7Pro.
This will fill a lot of the gaps that Internet Explorer leaves you with. My favorite feature is the inline spell check and inline search that Firefox users have come to count on.

I didnt try out the IE7 much, most of the time I use only Firefox.
I use IE7 , this will help me .
Nirmal – Good for you! I’m the same way, but I try to cover all the browsers on this site when possible.
Madhur – Glad you found the post useful! After using it awhile, let me know how it works for you (or do a post about it on your site).
I don’t trust IE. After I used firefox I have been alerted to a few bogus sites and even emails from pop mail. With IE we are open to all sorts of attacks. Also firefox has SEO plugins which is nice. Does IE7 have any?
Art – Currently I don’t believe IE7 has any SEO extensions (that I can think of anyway).
