Al - Glad you also found it useful!

DJ Flush - Thanks for letting me know your concerns! I'm not sure how it would effect comments, as it requires the simplest of math equations (which most people should know the answer to).

Its actually been there for a good 6 months now and comments have been steadily rising in the meantime, so I think most people (like myself), don't mind it.

Anyway, I appreciate you letting me know. I'll take that as a vote against it!

Yes I was referring to that Math Equation as the Captcha

That might be helping you fight spam but it is also killing potential comments on your blog

I think you should take a look at

Incidentally, the article you mentioned is the first one I've stumbled when I searched for such a how-to on Google. I've been able to implement the search function with breeze using the steps provided.

DJ Flush - Thanks for stopping by! What captcha in the comments? All I believe all I have currently is the Math equation, which since adding has completely stopped all comment spam I was getting. Is that what you meant by the captcha?

This site doesn't use a traditional captcha (such as entering the words shown in a computer generated image).

Informative piece of information. This is the first time I am visiting your blog so let me tell you I like your very well organized sidebar but I really dislike the captcha you are using in your comments

This post was great and that is exactly the reason I am using Google Coop on my Blog too.
