Flock 1.0 Is Formally Announced

It wasn’t to long ago that Flock released version 0.9, which quickly raised the bar when it comes to 2nd generation web browsers. Now it looks like only 3 months later, they are getting ready to hit their next milestone with Flock 1.0, which was just announced at TechCrunch40.  So far, from what I’ve read, it looks pretty good!
Want to try Flock? You can check out their private beta to get a peak at what is in store for us with this next version of Flock, or check out Webware’s post with some more information.

I’ve checked out flock and think it is pretty cool, but I’ll still be sticking with Firefox and all of its wonderful extensions.

Michael - Flock 0.9 didn’t do a lot to separate itself from Firefox 2.0, but this new version looks to separate itself quite a bit more. If you aren’t a big Flock fan, though, I’d wait until it goes live to give it a try.
Nirmal - My Flock partner in crime! Hehe. I’ve spent some time talking to Evan and Will in the past, so I’m hoping that “pull” helps me get into beta!
