I’ve been a frequent user of eBay since 2003, when I first created my count and tried buying something for the first time online. Later, eBay officially released a browser toolbar, but it was Internet Explorer only.

Since starting Firefox a couple of years ago, I was surprised at the lack of quality eBay extensions for the Firefox web browser. Finally, that all changed thanks to My Friendly Fox, who recently released the beta version of their The eBay Toolbar for Firefox.

This Firefox toolbar allows you to search eBay, access your My eBay page or your auctions, quickly find your favorite sellers, and access everything eBay from directly within your web browser.

According to the extensions site:

The eBay toolbar lets you take eBay with you! Search eBay from any site, quickly access all of your auctions, and enhance eBay with great tools like price comparison, consumer reviews, and shipping information.

The eBay Toolbar also displays preview pictures for each and every item in the search results, even if the seller hasn’t paid for it. This saves you time by not making you click every link in the list just to see a picture.

Due to the quality of this extension, I have added this to my Best of: Firefox Add-ons page.
