Firefox Extension: Better GCal
May 17th, 2007
A couple of weeks ago I posted about a new firefox extension Lifehacker created called Better GMail. Well, now it looks like they are at it again, creating a similar extension for Google Calendar called Better GCal.
What this extension does is add a menu containing several popular greasemonkey scripts for Google Calendar. You can simply check which options you want activated and which you don’t want activated.
This seems to the start to a trend. Instead of making their own extensions, Lifehacker is taking existing ones (in the form of Greasemonkey scripts) and bundling them up into one extension. Overall, I think these are a good idea and will be successful, but won’t most people that want these have Greasemonkey already?
