Do You Still Use Facebook?
February 28th, 2008
Today I noticed an interesting post over at Webware, which talks about a planned face lift for Facebook. In looking at the screenshots provided, I really don’t see a major difference in the look of the site, but it will be nice to have the wall in its own tab.
While looking over the photos, I realized that I haven’t logged into Facebook in awhile. I’ve probably logged in twice in the past 2 months, mostly for maintenance purposes (approve friends, check wall, etc.). Do you find that you still use Facebook? Or has it lost most of it’s appeal?

I’m only regularly going on it still because I post links of my latest blog posts on there now as a means of marketing – not sure how great this is going, I’ll need to check my stats soon.
Other than that, I have a bookmark link on my toolbar in Firefox for it – so that just means I tend to click it when I’m bored to check out the news feed.
I’ve been a member now for 8 months and the only application I actively use is the Compare one which is something again I do when bored
Speaking of the Facebook Applications, I do miss playing the poker one now that I think about it. I’ll have to try to find some time.
Facebook was almost dead for me. I was sick of everyone posting crap and then….. the scrabulus app came along and changed everything.
I am on their almost daily now.
I also try to be regular there. I like playing quizes.
Yeah I tend to take a look about every other day for messages and such… it sure can consume your time with all those plug ins and apps… I do enjoy it.
For the sake of social network, I much prefer Facebook to MySpace. Even though the look is plain, it’s not as crappy looking as MySpace, plus – I haven’t gotten any SPAM from them yet. But to answer your question, I haven’t found much time to go on there lately, not that I was ever really into it.
