According to the official Del.icio.us blog, it looks like they are now offering a taste test of the new look they have been working on for their site, dubbed Del.icio.us 2.0.  In addition to the revamped UI, it looks like they have been working hard on some additional improvements, including an improved search engine and implementation of user feedback in several areas.

While any new look for Del.icio.us is probably going to be an improved look, I’m really looking forward to the possibility of improved navigation.  This has always been my biggest frustration with their service, and the fact that Yahoo! has owned this company for a couple years now and we are finally seeing some slight improvements doesn’t bode well for the company in my opinion.   Yahoo! should be very thankful that Google never ventured into the social side of bookmarking, because their lack of attention to this service would have been its downfall.
