In a previous post I covered the Best of: Gmail Greasemonkey Scripts, which has been pretty well received.  Unfortunately, it looks like many of these scripts do not work for the most current version of Gmail (known as Gmail 2.0), so I decided to write a follow up post that lists Greasemonkey scripts that are known to be compatible for Gmail 2.0.

In order to use these, you will first need to make sure you have the Greasemonkey extension installed in your Firefox web browser.

Gmail 2.0 Greasemonkey Scripts

  • FB Gmail – Displays notifications from Facebook.com on your Gmail view.
  • Folders4Gmail – Adds folders to your Gmail account.
  • Gmail Beautifier – Hides/Shows ads in Gmail, widens email body, removes beta from Gmail logo (disabled by default), & gives buttons a better look.
