If you’re shopping around for a new look for your Wordpress website, Tickle In My Mind has posted a list of 20 Great Looking Wordpress Themes. You’ll find a lot of nice themes that can be downloaded for free, including Greenery, which would look great on a wide variety of blogs.  Back when I was looking for a theme for this website, I tried a few of these and would definitely recommend them to others.

I don’t see to many new themes on the list. You posted a reference to 80 themes last month and quite a few of the themes on this current list are in the 80 reference.
Still on the back burner… I should really invest the time into creating custom themes. I can never find a perfect theme for my sites.
So far, my favorite is JohnTP’s TripleK2 with the Technoblue style added. From there I am able to create nice custom headers… and having its own version of sidebar widgets installed allows me to rule out the extra added automattic widgets plugin needed for all others. It’s the best theme I have used to date.

Daniel - No problem
Garry - I remember the large list from Smashing Magazine. Are you sure all of these were included on that list? I was pretty sure I hadn’t seen a few of these.
JohnTP does make great themes. Those are actually varients of the popular K2 theme (although it seems all themes are variants of existing themes). Custom themes aren’t a big deal, but if you have the time its nice to have a unique look on your site. I’m still working on this one and hope to at least be satisfied with it in the coming weeks, although knowing me, it will always be a work in progress.
