This has been kind of a slow week around the blogosphere with not a lot happening. Either that, or it just seems that way coming off Google PageRank update week. Either way, here is some of the stuff I enjoyed from around the blogosphere this week:
- Ryan of CyberNet News has posted about the history of web browsers. Included is a look back at Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and even Netscape. Incredible post Ryan!
- Shankar Ganesh took my advice on trying Avast and it looks like now he is hooked! I’m always thrilled to hear I converted another one to Avast. He even through threw a post comparing AVG vs. Avast that is a very good read.
- Lifehacker gives us an early look at Firefox 3.0. With Beta 1 just around the corner, I’m starting to get all pumped up for this browser.
- Keith over at Techie-Buzz has explained how to access your Yahoo! Mail from a desktop client such as Microsoft Outlook. I use web-based mail for everything, but I still manage it from my Outlook or Thunderbird desktop clients, so I found this particularly useful.

Even i have shifted to Avast. It is light weight and does the job well.

I think its been slow because everyone was partying at the Blog World Expo! I don’t know if much business got conducted, but certainly a lot of partying went on;)

Madhur - Glad you are enjoying the change. I love Avast.
Sectional - Yes, the full time bloggers have all been at the expo. For whatever reason, that seems to shut down the blogosphere temporarily.

Thanks for the link back Kyle. You know, I’m loving Avast!
